chasing shadows

i wonder

does it really takes hundred efforts

to get one result?

will there be a bit of acknowledgement

when theres too much of complications?

i wonder

would it be as expected

since it sounds outdated?

i wonder

do shadows halt

even when we were chasing it with all of our heart?

then..

i realized

i got nothing

when even the norms can be quite demanding

i realized

that hopes can be very frustrating

if it were too high and came down crashing

i realized

that i am ever chasing the shadow

since i am a soulless ghost of yore

do i have the rights
